The Allstate Foundation offers several grant programs to support charitable organizations where Allstate agency owners and employees volunteer.
Our Good Hands® people are a force for good in local communities. The Foundation is proud to invest in the local efforts of our Allstate’s agency owners and employees, who are passionate about their communities and have a keen understanding of what they need most. In 2015, Allstate, together with its employees, agency owners and The Allstate Foundation gave $36 million to nonprofits across the nation and volunteered more than 250,000 hours. Since our founding in 1952, we’ve contributed more than $400 million.
To recognize personal community involvement, The Allstate Foundation awards $1,000 and $500 grants to nonprofit organizations with Allstate agency owners, EFSs, select licensed staff and employees volunteer. These grants are only available by invitation from the Allstate volunteer. Qualified nonprofits with Allstate volunteers may not apply without an invitation. For information regarding these Helping Hands Grants, please review the FAQ to learn how to apply if you have been invited by an Allstate volunteer.
Through this program, we double the personal contributions that Allstate agency owners and employees, make to eligible institutions of higher education. The Foundation matches these personal contributions of $25 to $5,000 per year. Funds are directed toward the school's general scholarship fund.
