Responsible drivers mean safer roads for everyone.

We’ve been transforming teens into safer drivers since 1952.

Car crashes are the No. 1 killer of teens in America, causing far more teen deaths each year than homicide, suicide, cancer and drugs.

Allstate identified the need for a teen driving program back in 1952 when the Foundation awarded one of its first grants to a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping keep teens safer on the road.

In 2005, the Foundation set a goal to help reduce teen traffic fatalities by 50% by 2015. And we’ve almost met that goal. Whether you are a parent, relative or friend of a teen driver, or just hit the road every day with teens in your community, there are lots of ways you can help save young lives and make driving safer for everyone.
