The Allstate Foundation
Who We Are
The Allstate Foundation brings the relationships, reputation and resources of Allstate to support innovative and lasting solutions that enhance people's well-being and prosperity.
For more than 60 years, The Allstate Foundation has been dedicated to a straightforward purpose: helping people. We have created practical, proven programs for thousands of individuals and families to help them overcome personal challenges and uncertainties - leading to better, safer lives.
The Allstate Foundation supports a range of programs across the nation, in the Chicago area (our backyard) and at the state and local level. In every case, we direct our resources and support toward areas that fulfill our commitment to help protect and prepare people across the nation.
Our core goal is to help Americans realize their hopes and dreams by connecting people through innovative programs that drive social change. In addition to championing a series of long established programs around the nation, we channel our focus on two signature programs to achieve maximum impact:
- Teen Safe Driving Program encourages teens to motivate their peers to be smart drivers and passengers to reduce the amount of teen-involved car crashes. We provide programs to educate new drivers and their parents about smart driving habits to help make the roads safer for all.
- Domestic Violence Program helps domestic violence survivors overcome financial abuse. We help empower survivors to lead safer, financially independent lives.
The Allstate Foundation is also dedicated to our agency owners and employees, offering several grant initiatives to support communities and charitable organizations served by Allstate volunteers.
In addition, we offer SaferLives,SM a program made available by our agency owners to help keep you safer in the home, on the road, and in the community. SaferLives offers safety tips and information on teen driving, disaster preparedness, domestic violence and school playground safety.
The Allstate Foundation works with a number of partners to help advance our goal of social change.
